Welcome to Neighbourhood Teacher
Hi, my name is Ilana, I am the co-founder of Neighbourhood Teacher. I am a primary school teacher from Melbourne, Australia.
As a qualified primary school teacher, I have taught students from grade prep to grade 6. I have taught in both mainstream and special developmental primary schools in Melbourne, including Plenty Parklands Primary School, Mernda Primary School, Mill Park Primary School, and Diamond Valley Special Developmental School.
What I Do
Teach English and Mathematics in accordance with the Australian National Curriculum which is used to teach students in Australian primary schools.
Support students of all academic abilities, including students needing to catch-up, who are disengaged, or require extension in learning.
Teach students with additional needs, including students with selective mutism, ADHD, and autism spectrum disorder.
